Byliner monitors your fave authors

Created by Phil Gyford, the Byliner site is a clever idea with lots of potential.

It currently monitors four popular sites - Salon, Feed, Industry Standard and Wired News - and specifically keeps an eye on by-lined stories.

When you sign up for Byliner, you get to pick which writers you are interested in. Every time you re-visit Byliner, it will present you with links to the latest articles by your chosen authors.

Although the list of sites is small for now, with a bit of support from the internet community this site could grow fast and monitor much more sites and writers. Maybe even writetheweb.com.
