Manila gets metadata plugin

John VanDyk has created a metadata plugin for the Manila web content management system, as used by EditThisPage.com.

The plugin allows users to add more meta-information to content items than is available with the default setup of Manila, and expose this metainformation -- for instance, within HTML META tags.

The Dublin Core metadata specification is supported as an option by the plugin, and according to the author support for RDF (an XML-based language for describing data, used extensively in the Mozilla browser project) is on the way.
